The waterpolo program is designed to give all Middle School students the
opportunity to play on a team and compete. The program focuses on teaching the fundamentals and strategies to play the game.
Drills and scrimmages are designed so that students will learn the game in a safe and respectful environment.
We try to have a boys and girls program that will compete with other schools at a similar playing level. Most of the games are after school. Students will play at the level which is best suited to their ability and experience.
Skills and strategies of the game, include eggbeater, passing and shooting skills, defense, offensive movements, swimming skills, positioning and spacing.
A Note about Transportation to Meets
All meets will have a bus going to and from the site. Please try to inform the coach in advance if you plan to pick up your child at the meet. If you want to have someone else drive your child home from a meet, you need to inform the coach in writing—by text, e-mail, or note—in advance.
