Seventh & Eighth Grade Girls’ Lacrosse
The Middle School Girls’ Lacrosse program has seen significant growth since its inception just a handful of years ago.
We humbly began with modest enrollment numbers and a menu of basic practices to generate interest, and we are now competing in multiple small-sided Jamborees with other WBAL schools throughout the season.
In 2023, we scheduled a pair of season-ending
full-field games
at the seventh & eighth grade levels with Sacred Heart Schools - and these games were
hugely popular
for our/their students. The full-field format will be the benchmark for all Middle School Girls’ Lacrosse seasons going forward, and it is a testament to the interest level and growth of both our program AND the sport of girls lacrosse in the region.
During our classes, we cover a wide range of topics: from the most basic fundamentals of cradling, ground balls, passing & catching to stick tricks, shooting drills, small-sided games & scrimmaging, we do our very best to ensure that our students are always having fun
and
improving every single day.
All Jamborees and games take place immediately after school.
There are no games currently scheduled for this team.
A Note about Transportation to Meets
All meets will have a bus going to and from the site. Please try to inform the coach in advance if you plan to pick up your child at the meet. If you want to have someone else drive your child home from a meet, you need to inform the coach in writing—by text, e-mail, or note—in advance.
