Boys’ water polo splits games

Knights top Menlo-Atherton, fall to SHP

The Menlo boys’ water polo team defeated host Menlo-Atherton19-4 in non-league play Friday night.
Freshman Adam Afar led all with five assists. Junior Calvin Barad and senior Jackson Coleman had 2 steals each.
The Knights (5-3) got goals from eight players.

Menlo boys’ water polo dropped a 16-8 decision in its WCAL opener at home Wednesday
Senior Jackson Coleman had five steals, two assists and a goal. Freshmen Alex Afar added two assists and Lincoln Bott had four steals. Juniors Alex Stoffel led Menlo with 2 blocked shots and Calvin Barad led the Knights with 3 ejections earned.
