Biography

I was born in China and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. My passion for history and social sciences during my school years inspired me to pursue a career in education. I hold a Master’s degree in Upper Secondary Education with a specialization in History and Political Science. Before moving to the U.S., I taught at Spyken High School, one of the top-ranked upper secondary schools in southern Sweden, and have also gained extensive experience teaching at the middle school level through my time at Svalebo Middle School.

In 2023, my husband and I relocated to the Bay Area when he accepted a researcher position at Stanford University. During the 2023-2024 academic year, I served as a full-time one-to-one Humanities Teacher at Lydian Academy in Menlo Park. I am thrilled to continue my teaching career here, doing what I am most passionate about.

In my free time, I enjoy riding horses at Stanford Red Barn, watching musicals, skiing, hiking, and spending time with friends and family over a cup of coffee, or “fika” as we call it in Swedish.
