Biography

I have been teaching seventh and eighth grade Spanish at Menlo School since 2003. 

I received my BA in Spanish literature and in environmental studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1998, and spent the next several years exploring outdoor professions. I began teaching soon after, often combining my love of the outdoors with my love of teaching.

More recently, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three sons in my free time. Our favorite activities include farmers’ markets, potlucks with friends, camping and bad reality TV.
