Biography
Music has been my heart’s desire since I was five years old, so I naturally chose it as my major and never tire of teaching this art form to my students. I have been an educator for over 30 years and joined Menlo in 2002.
I currently teach a steel pan/percussion class, a mixed chorus, a non-performance-project-based music elective, and a general music class for 6th grade. I am the teacher moderator for our annual student-run talent show, plan and organize the MS assemblies, host a winter and spring concert, and direct a faculty steel pan band and ukulele class.
When I’m not in my classroom, I am teaching private piano and voice lessons, playing piano professionally for special events, as well as hiking, cooking, and spending lots of time with my husband and two boys.
