Biography
After graduating from UCSD, I began a career as a computer scientist at a local research lab. My love for traveling, budding interest in teaching, and desire for a change of pace later led me to spending a sabbatical year in South Korea where I taught English to middle school students. That transformative experience solidified my aspiration to obtain my masters degree and pursue a new career in education.
Before joining Menlo in 2018, I had the opportunity to teach math and computer science at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School and Nueva School. Currently, I teach computer science to incredible 6th and 7th graders. From creating hands-on projects to guiding students to those “AHA” moments, I love being in the classroom.
Outside of school you can find me chasing around my toddler, practicing yoga, gaming with my husband, and traveling around the world!
